At Helpringham Primary School our vision is to create a school that encourages its children to secure key knowledge, be given real experiences and have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a range of contexts. Central to our curriculum is children developing a sense of self, others and the World. These key elements are closely linked to our H.E.A.R.T School Values. A key component of our curriculum development is to ensure that the children can have the opportunity to revisit prior learning, ensuring that key facts and vocabulary are secured.
We want to help each child become a caring, confident and curious young person who has a passion for learning and achieving.
We will do this by supporting, guiding and inspiring our children through excellent teaching practices.
By working with our families, we strive to provide inclusive opportunities and shared experiences within our school where everyone is valued and successes are celebrated.
We use curriculum partners to support the delivery of our broad and balanced curriculum. These include:
Read Write Inc. for Phonics
Curriculum Maestro for Science, History, Geography, Art and DT
White Rose for Maths
Charanga for Music
1Decision for PSHE/RSE
Lincolnshire Agreed Syllabus for RE
PE Champions for Physical Education
NCCE for Computing
